About the Company:
We specialize in data analysis for agriculture, developing our own IoT hardware and digital tools to collect reliable data for further analysis. Our team of agronomists and data scientists integrate crop-related knowledge and data engineering to come up with algorithms, prediction models, and alert systems that solve agricultural problems. We have collaborated with agricultural research organizations to build tools and solutions that fit the reality and have the potential of making a real change.
Our company has successfully deployed IoT sensors on over 200 farms, providing real-time monitoring of environmental conditions. These sensors are connected to our cloud platform, which collects and analyzes the data to provide insights for farmers to optimize their farm management strategies.
In addition to serving the domestic market, we have expanded our business overseas and export our products to Singapore and South Africa. We have also established a proof-of-concept (POC) field in Malaysia, where we are testing our technology under local conditions and working closely with local partners to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of the Malaysian market.
As we continue to grow and expand our global reach, we remain committed to our mission of providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the agriculture industry. By collaborating with local farmers and partners, we strive to make a positive impact on the environment and society while creating value for the whole industry.
About the Products:
AgriWeather Smart Farming System
Our smart farming solution includes hardware devices, a software platform, and data analytics. Our IoT devices which are powered by solar energy and connected through wireless networks, consist of Field Sensors, Local Weather Stations, and Time-Lapse Cameras that gather environmental data and images of crops. Users can better understand their crops' environment and situation by visualizing this data on our cloud platform. Additionally, our data analytics provide users with crop growth stage estimations, stress alerts, and solutions for individual crop issues. Our team combines agronomic knowledge and new technologies to solve existing problems and improve agricultural efficiency, sustainability, and productivity. As a result, our smart farming solution can enhance farming practices and help meet the increasing demand for sustainable and high-quality produce.
We develop IoT devices for outdoor farms which are designed to operate without electricity and withstand harsh environmental conditions. Our devices are powered by solar energy and connected through wireless networks using LoRa, CatM1, and NBIoT communication protocols, providing reliable and efficient data transmission even in areas with limited signal coverage.
Furthermore, our AgriWeather Cloud Platform offers responsive web design, providing real-time data monitoring and warnings for farmers, crop growth stage estimation and recommended cultivation practices. The platform translates data into different formats for collaboration with experts, farmers, and consumers. In addition, we provide monthly crop reports for problem diagnosis and optimization. Our platform enables farmers to make informed decisions and optimize management strategies for better crop yields.
We can help with contract farming management by providing real-time crop growth and yield data, enabling farmers to forecast their harvest and plan accordingly and accurately. This can help to ensure that contract farming obligations are met and that farmers receive fair compensation for their produce. Similarly, contract owners can have better visibility into the situation of the plantation, leading to better planning and management decisions."
We have successfully implemented our smart farming solution for several clients, including an organic pomelo farm in Hualien, Taiwan. By researching the soil type and characteristics of the pomelo crop, we determined an appropriate irrigation range and divided the three-hectare farm into several zones. Soil moisture sensors were deployed in each zone, triggering the irrigation device when moisture fell below the designated field. In 2022, our solution helped the farm conserve 97.5% of water and increase good quality products by 20%.
Another notable case is our collaboration with a well-known wholesaler and consumers' cooperation in Taiwan, which was concerned about the potential harm of nitrate in vegetables to human health. They requested a solution to produce low-nitrate vegetables and educate farmers on the method. Our team studied the factors affecting nitrate accumulation in plants, designed an experiment, and incorporated IoT devices to collect data for analysis. Based on the data collected, we developed a method for low-nitrate vegetable production that satisfied the client's requirements.
Our smart farming solution integrates agronomic knowledge with new technologies, addressing specific agricultural issues to improve efficiency, sustainability, and productivity. Combining hardware devices, a software platform, and data analytics enables farmers to collect and analyze critical environmental data, leading to more informed decision-making and improved crop quality.
